DESCRIPTION:In this on site workshop at ACMI\, students plan\, film and edit a fictional film – all in one day!\nThis intensive filmmaking workshop for students in years 9-10 introduces production elements such as storyboarding\, cinematography and editing by placing students in creative filmmaking roles. DESCRIPTION:In this on site workshop at ACMI\, Years 5-6 students will create news segments on the green screen to develop their news reporting and interview skills. Students will also learn about the technology behind digital backgrounds and the role of a responsible reporter. \nStudents will: \n\nwork in small groups to deliver their own news program\ndevelop reporting and interview skills\nconsider the difference between primary and secondary sources\nunderstand the ethical responsibilities of a reporter\ngain insight into how green screens are used\nhave their news segmented recorded and edited by ACMI staff\n\nLearning areas and capabilities: \nDrama\, Media Arts\, English\, Critical and Creative Thinking\, Ethical Understanding \nImportant information: \nThis program can accommodate two classes (up to 56 students) in the one full-day program .
