DESCRIPTION:In this on site workshop at ACMI\, students plan\, film and edit a fictional film – all in one day!\nThis intensive filmmaking workshop for students in years 9-10 introduces production elements such as storyboarding\, cinematography and editing by placing students in creative filmmaking roles. Working collaboratively to interpret a screenplay\, students will explore concepts of narrative\, genre and visual storytelling. \nStudents will: \n– understand the different phases of film production and the creative roles involved \n– consider tropes\, codes\, and conventions of different genres \n– produce a storyboard and shot list from a script \n– film and edit their films with support from ACMI staff \nLearning areas and capabilities \nMedia Arts\, Drama\, Digital Technologies\, Critical and Creative Thinking\, Personal and Social \n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhen\nMondays to Thursdays during school terms\, 10am–2:30pm \n\n\nTickets\nPer class / up to 28 students \n$625 \n\n\n\n>>For more information and to book
