In this on site workshop at ACMI, students plan, film and edit a fictional film – all in one day!
In this on-site 60-minute session at NFSA in Canberra students will develops critical thinking skills to empowers them to become confident media consumers. Through engaging discussion and guided exploration, students will explore how the Australian story is told and shaped through images, sound and text across a range of media examples – including animation, advertising, video games, social video, film, and music.
Students will explore:
- How do different forms of media influence us?
- What techniques do creators use to engage and persuade?
- What does it mean to be a media-literate citizen?
